Practice photography

I've had my camera for a while but I still default to auto mode because manual settings feel overwhelming. Instead of just taking okay photos and hoping for the best, I wanna actually learn how to use the thing. I'll also challenge myself to shoot regularly, even if it's just around my neighborhood, so the skills actually stick. I want to feel more confident shooting in manual and understand why some photos work better.
