learn more about Ivorian culture so my child knows her roots

I'm Bulgarian. My daughter is 2 and she's mixed. Her dad is Ivorian. I'd love my kid to learn more about her roots since she's both Slavic and African.It's kind of hard - her dad is not present and I don't speak French. I've already started taking French classes, we watch cartoons and kids shows together, I'm planning to learn how take care of her very curly hair later on. I'm still educating myself on how I can be a better mother for my girl. Let me know, if you have any ideas, how can I make it all work
