Vinyl collection

I've been collecting vinyl for a while now, but I still feel like I don't really know what I'm doing. Instead of just grabbing whatever looks interesting, I wanna build a more intentional collection. I'm planning to start by identifying key albums in the genres I actually loveabout like jazz, classic rock, maybe some soul, and hunting those down first. I also wanna learn the basics of record care so I'm not accidentally damaging the ones I already have. By the end of this, I'd like to have a small but meaningful collection of something that I actually like and just some classic and experimentals
